Dr Moss Pic sm (002)

9:30 a.m. - 10:20 a.m. - MPWRPeople's First Course - A Go, Go, Go to Market Plan (GTM) - Dr. Kenneth M. Moss, Program Director of Business Studies at Bryant & Stratton College

A go-to-market (GTM) strategy is a plan that details how an organization can engage with customers to convince them to buy their product or service.  The end goal is to gain an advantage over competitors.  The overarching purpose of a GTM strategy is to provide a game plan to sell a product or service to a receptive market.  A significant focus must be on factors such as pricing, branding, distribution channels, and properly identifying proper customers.  A GTM strategy is not as comprehensive as a business plan which is broader in scope and considers additional items like funding.

Dr. Kenneth M. Moss is the Program Director of Business Studies at Bryant and Stratton College. Before this position, he served as a principal faculty member teaching leadership and management courses at Saint Leo University, University of Maryland Global Campus, Virginia Union University, and University of Phoenix-Richmond Campus.

With over twenty-five years of management and organizational leadership experience, he is known as an expert in mentoring, emotional intelligence, management, and organizational leadership. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), International Leadership Association (ILA), and Society of Emotional Intelligence (SEI). The Capstone of his professional career includes retirement from the United States Army after twenty years of distinguished service.

In addition to his work in academia and the military, he served as a career consultant for Right Management, the world’s largest consulting firm, and was the owner of Strategic Leadership Development Group, a career and leadership consulting firm. While with Right Management, he provided career transition services to displaced executives, conducted entrepreneur development training, leadership development, and career management coaching. His research interest includes mentoring, emotional intelligence, and leadership development.

Dr. Moss holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Organizational Leadership and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia. He earned a Master of Science degree in Management Science from Troy University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Columbus State University.
